Bookings and Payments
Reservations for national guests are confirmed upon prepayment. Prior to this, reservations are only tentative, and we reserve the right, after consulting with the applicant, to make the reservation available to others. This pre-reservation will be valid for three days. Failure to pay on time will automatically cancel the reservation without the possibility of subsequent claims.
The prepayment or deposit to confirm the reservation will be 100% of the total amount of the accommodation reservation by bank transfer.
The deposit will be made to our bank account, which we will indicate when making the reservation, and then an email with the deposit receipt will be sent to the hotel. The hotel will then reply by email with confirmation of the accepted reservation.
For foreign guests who are not residents of Chile and who wish to take advantage of the tax exemption under DL 825 Art. 12 and be exempt from paying VAT, payment is only accepted in US dollars.
To validate this tax benefit, at the time of check-in (online or at the reception desk) and as proof of your non-resident status, you must present your passport and immigration ticket for each member of the reservation.
Extra activity services (fishing, kayaks, barbecue area, among others) must be paid in Chilean pesos and are subject to VAT.
To confirm reservations for foreign guests, we will request your credit card information and charge you the total cost of your stay in USD. The passport of the cardholder must be attached. Failure to send the requested information within 3 days will automatically cancel the reservation without the possibility of subsequent claims.
The information sent by email is strictly confidential.
Reservations are made according to the number of people in the group, the accommodation required, the services requested by the passenger, and the availability of the hotel.
If more passengers arrive than requested in the reservation, they will have to be accommodated according to hotel availability and will pay the total amount corresponding to the additional services required. The hotel is released from liability for any inconvenience caused to the passengers affected in these cases, responding to any problem to the person or entity responsible for the reservation. If there is no way to accommodate the extra passengers and the group decides to leave the hotel, not making the reservation effective, there will be no refund of the prepayment.
The prepayment for accommodation cannot be used to pay for other services or consumption in our facilities or other facilities or services outside of our control.
We accept the following forms of payment: Bank Transfer, Cash, and Credit Card.
Credit card payments are not accepted for promotional rates or discounted prices.
Rates
All prices listed in Chilean pesos (CLP) include VAT.
All prices listed in US Dollars (USD) do not include VAT
Foreign guests, non-resident of Chile, staying in our hotel, can be exempted from VAT/IVA according to the Tax exemption DL 825 Art.12 in the services of the hotel. The payment accepted for this tax law to be valid must be in USD dollars.
Children
Children under 2 years old are exempt from paying for accommodation, provided they share a double room with two adults, without the right to a bed or meals.
Children over 2 years old pay an extra supplement.
Details of children in the family group must be provided in order to calculate the final cost of the reservation in case the maximum occupancy of your cabin/room is exceeded.
Cancellations
To cancel your reservation, you must send a written request to our email address reservas@elpangue.com or call us at +56 67 2 526906 - +56 9 3256 4703.
If you cancel 60 days or more before your arrival date, you will receive a 90% refund of your deposit.
Between 59 and 30 days prior to arrival, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
Between 29 days and 0 days prior to arrival, no refund will be given.
If you do not show up and do not give notice on the first day of your reservation, it will be canceled, and you will lose the reservation for the remaining days.
In cases of force majeure, either our own or that of third parties that directly affect El Pangue Lodge, such as road closures, transportation problems such as flight, bus, or ferry itineraries, accidents, fires, strikes, natural hazards, illness, etc., we will try to modify the services and/or the reservation date according to the hotel's availability.
Modifications
Changes to confirmed dates may be made up to 60 days prior to the passenger's arrival and are subject to hotel availability.

No Show
No show, no refund.
In case of a no-show, there will be no refunds for prepayments.
If the passenger arrives at the hotel after the reserved date without prior notice, the reservation will be honored according to the hotel's availability and a charge for one night will be made for the no-show. Otherwise, the passenger will assume the loss of all nights without the right to a refund of the payment.
Activities
Activities in a determined program may vary for different external causes. If it is impossible to re-schedule it, it can be replaced for another activity of the same cost.
The different activities have different kinds of difficulty, danger or physical effort. The guest’s health should be taken into consideration. If we consider the guest is not physically able to perform it, we will suggest another activity more suitable. If the passenger insists, he/she will have to sign a letter which releases the hotel from all liability, and he/she acknowledges the dangers of the activity.
Passengers will have to sign a responsibility document for all the activities classify as “high risk”.
We are allowed to deny the access to the Risopatrón Lake throughout our facilities.
The dock it is only for the hotel passengers’ usage.
Damage and/or Destruction
At check-in, a credit card is requested as a guarantee. In the event that any furniture, items, or similar property belonging to the Lodge suffers damage, destruction, or vandalism, the cost will be charged to the guest's account.
Pets
No kind of pets are allowed in our facilities.
